Patrick has worked extensively in the community and believes passionately that all should have the opportunity to express themselves. He is an advocate of Poetry Therapy and has developed programmes of writing with those living with Dementia.

Has been key writer in the Write for Life Prison Project with Literature Wales.
Writer with many Welsh National Opera MAX projects most recently with their Street Songs Project in Aberdare working with recovering drug addicts, individuals who had recently been released from prison and people who had experienced homelessness. He has worked alongside The Alzheimer's Society, Gwent Arts in Health, Llanhilleth Institute, The Welsh Refugee Council, Glyn Coch Communities First, St David’s Foundation Hospice Care, The Samaritans, NCH Headlands and Tredegar Development Trust.
He was in residence at Velindre Hospital in Cardiff.
Patrick's work has included poetry projects at Greenhill Manor Nursing Home (Specialist Care for Dementia patients), Pupil Referral Units, Cardiff City's All Skilled Up project and Talygarn Unit at Pontypool Hospital.
He is part of Literature Wales' Writers on Tour Scheme (www.literaturewales.org), a member of Lapidus, has Public Liability Insurance and an up to date Enhanced CRB check.
